Man Charged With Stalking Ex Rummaged Through Her Car, Police Say

A wanted man is in custody after allegedly stalking his ex-girlfriend, rummaging through her belongings, stealing her car and attempting to sell it, police said.

Officers from the Milford Police Department arrested local resident Edward Alicki, 47, who had an active warrant out for his arrest.

According to police, Alicki allegedly stalked a woman he was in a relationship with. His victim stated that Alicki would repeatedly show up at several places she was attending, uninvited. 

He also is accused of rummaging through his victim’s vehicle and police said that he most recently took a vehicle that belonged to her without permission and attempted to sell it.

Alicki was arrested on Wednesday, March 6 and charged with second-degree stalking. Alicki was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday to respond to the charges.
